<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve image display excellent in visibility when landmark icons indicating POIs such as facilities are displayed on a map. <P>SOLUTION: When the map is displayed on a display screen as a ground and icons indicating information regarding the POIs are simultaneously displayed at positions on the map corresponding to specific places of the POIs, a failure display detection part 42 determines whether the visibility of the display screen is deteriorated by displaying a plurality of icons, and when deterioration of the visibility may occur, a display change part 43 changes a display image.
