PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yellow toner showing excellent dispersibility of a yellow pigment, good reproducibility of thin lines, little generation of fog and high print density. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a yellow toner includes a step 1 of dispersing a mixture containing a polymerizable monomer and a yellow pigment by a dispersing machine to prepare a polymerizable monomer mixture containing the yellow pigment dispersed in the polymerizable monomer.
