PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collectively carry out the settings for a primary NAS and a secondary NAS by sending a plurality of prices of configuration information to the respective NAS from a setting device, in a file sharing system. SOLUTION: A configuration information setting device 5 is configured to send NAS configuration information D1, disk configuration information D2, snapshot configuration information D3 and remote copy configuration information D4 to a primary NAS1 and a secondary NAS2 in a prescribed order. The respective NAS determine whether the respective configuration information received from the configuration information setting device 5 can be achieved, and when determination is made that this configuration information is achievable, respectively set the configuration information in their own devices.
