PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely fix a clamping arm to a head end part of a clamping rod with a simple operation to prevent a clamping object from being an obstacle, even when the clamping object exists near the clamping rod not to apply excessive load to a driving means of a swing type clamping device, and to surely and easily release fixing of the clamping arm from the clamping rod. SOLUTION: A nut member 30 has an arm opposed part 30a screwed into a screw part 3a1 formed at the head end part of the clamping rod 3 and opposed to the clamping arm 3. In the arm opposed part 30a, a plurality of screw holes 31 are formed in pass-through shapes. A plurality of fixing bolts 32 are screwed and incorporated into the plurality of screw holes 31. The plurality of fixing bolts 32 are made to abut on the clamping arm 4 by performing a rotating operation from the head end side of the clamping rod 3. A tapered hole part 4a1 of the clamping arm 4 is pressed and engaged to a tapered engaging part 3b1 of the clamping rod 3 to an axial center direction base end side. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
