PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch driving a load by accurately identifying a moving direction for a hand or finger of a user to approach or cross in front of an operation surface of the switch. SOLUTION: The high-frequency switch includes: a sensing means 11 radiating beams of radiowaves in a plurality of directions, converting movement of a detection object to frequencies on a radiation direction basis, and outputting the frequencies to the outside as a detection signal; a movement direction identification means 31 calculating a moving direction for the detection object to cross the front side of the sensing means 11 based on the detection signal to output the movement direction as an identification signal; a load drive means 41 outputting a drive signal for directly or indirectly driving the load based on the identification signal; and an operation surface 52 operating the drive of the load. All the beams of radiowaves radiated in the plurality of directions are radiated by being inclined in predetermined directions from the vertical direction with respect to the operation surface 52.
