PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional data processing device cannot cancel disablement of an internal bus during exception processing, and consequently, the exception processing is not fully executed. SOLUTION: A data processing device includes an arithmetic circuit 11 that accesses a peripheral device connected through an internal bus, an internal-bus connection circuit 12 that switches between an enable state and a disable state of an access from the arithmetic circuit 11 to the internal bus, an exception notification control circuit 19 that outputs exception occurrence notification signals ERRN to the arithmetic circuit 11 on the basis of an error occurring in the peripheral device, and a bus disabling control circuit 18 that instructs disablement of an access to the internal bus from the arithmetic circuit 11 to the internal-bus connection circuit 12 in accordance with the notification of the exception occurrence notification signals ERRN, and also, instructs the cancel of the disablement of the access to the internal bus from the arithmetic circuit 11 to the internal-bus connection circuit 12 in accordance with the start of exception processing based on the exception occurrence notification signals ERRN of the arithmetic circuit 11.
