PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor and an information processing method for reading data from a module on an asynchronous bus in the same cycle as when reading from a module on a synchronous bus. SOLUTION: A dual port memory 8 is connected to a synchronous bus 6 synchronized with a microprocessor bus 2 and an asynchronous bus 10 asynchronous to the microprocessor bus. A DMAC 5 controls, upon receipt of a request to read data of a module 9 connected to the asynchronous bus 10 from a microprocessor 1, the dual port memory 8 to hold the data of the module 9. When data can be read from the dual port memory 8, the microprocessor 1 reads the data held by the dual port memory 8 through the synchronous bus 6. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
