PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter for photographing device of a remote operation tool allowing a remote location to be photographed by a photographing device such as a general-purpose digital camera by means of the remote operation tool such as a plier without using a dedicated machine. SOLUTION: In the adapter 10, the camera 200 is attached to a holding part 110 of the plier 100, and the adapter is detachably attached to the plier so that the operation of the camera by the holding part is allowed. The adapter includes a fixing base 11 to which the camera is attached, positioned, and fixed, an attachment part 31 provided continuous to the fixing base and detachably attached to an unmoved member 111 of the holding part of the plier, an interlock part 41 transferring the action of a movable member 112 of the holding part of the plier to operate a shutter of the camera in an interlocked manner, and an abutment bar 21 of a desired length mounted on the fixing base and abutting against the vicinity of the object.
