PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser radar system for highly accurately measuring a distance up to an object without increasing a data amount to be processed, and to provide a transport instrument which is provided with the system. SOLUTION: A serial parallel converter 140 sequentially converts sample data SM into n-bits parallel data PD. A counter circuit 150 counts the number of continuous zero blocks and generates counter output signals CU, indicating a count result from parallel clock signals CK having n-folds cycle for the cycle of basic clock signals PCK. A processing part 180 stores parallel data PD at receiving light of emission light, parallel data PD in receiving light of reflection light, and the number of the zero blocks between the time of receiving the light of the emission light and the time of receiving the light of the reflection light into a storage part 160, calculates a distance from the parallel data PD and the counter output signal CU stored in the storing part 160, and outputs the calculated result as a distance signal DS.
