PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of a fluid pressure actuator system for controlling one fluid pressure actuator by fluid pressure circuits in two systems. SOLUTION: The fluid pressure actuator system includes two fluid pressure pumps for generating fluid with predetermined pressure; two fail-safe valves connected with the two fluid pressure pumps, respectively; the one fluid pressure actuator connected with the two fail-safe valves and moving a piston rod by switching supply and discharge of the fluid; two switching valves connected with the two fail-safe valves, respectively; two accumulators connected with the two switching valves, respectively; and two chambers connected with the two switching valves, respectively. Each of the two accumulators is connected to a corresponding one of the two fluid pressure pumps, accumulates fluid and sends the fluid to a corresponding one of the two fail-safe valves.
