<p>The method involves operating a pulse power converter (4) with small engine load of an asynchronous motor (2) and with a pulsing clock frequency which is greater than the high engine load, where the asynchronous motor is provided downstream of a pulse power converter that is provided in a drive system (1). The drive system with small engine load is operated with a slip exceeding the transition slip of the asynchronous motor and with rotary field frequency of approximately 200 cycles per second. An independent claim is also included for a drive system comprising a pulse power converter.</p> |
