<p>Provided are a thrust roller bearing, which can avoid the influences of eccentric rotations and can retain the throughflow of oil and the cooling performance of a roller contacting portion, and a retainer for the thrust roller bearing. The thrust roller bearing comprises a retainer (10) including first and second retainer constituting plates (11 and 12), and rollers (4) are retained in pockets (13) arranged in the circumferential direction of the retainer (10). The first retainer constituting plate (11) has a sectional shape including flat portions (11a and 11b) of radially inner and outer sides, a central flat portion (11c) axially offset from the individual flat portions (11a and 11b), and continuous portions (11d and 11e) continuing from the individual flat portions (11a and 11b) to the central flat portion (11c). The second retainer constituting plate (12) includes a plate portion (12a) overlapping the individual flat portions (11a and 11b), and folded portions (12b and 12c) folded back from the radially inner and outer sides of the plate portion (12a). The individual flat portions (11a and 11b) of the first retainer constituting plate (11) are sandwiched between the individual folded portions (12b and 12c) and the plate portion (12a).</p> |
