<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing program and image processing apparatus allowing a user to freely set a display area in a virtual space. <P>SOLUTION: A game device calculates a difference vector with predetermined reference coordinates on a screen as a start point, with input coordinates as an end point. The game device further calculates movement index data with a fixed point inside the virtual space uniquely determined from a position of an operation target object as a base point, for moving a gazing point to a position determined by a direction inside the virtual space based on a direction of the difference vector and a distance inside the virtual space based on magnitude of the difference vector. The gazing point is moved on the basis of the movement index data.
