PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device for imaging with high quality. SOLUTION: The imaging device 100 includes a photodiode part 14 that generates electrons, a transfer gate electrode 17 that transfers electrons, a transfer gate electrode 19 and an accumulation gate electrode 20, a multiplication gate part 18 that multiplies by causing electrons to collide with each another for ionization, and a transfer channel 13 provided under each gate electrode and which forms a path through which electrons are transferred, wherein at least some of the electrons generated by the photodiode part 14 during the period of imaging are accumulated in the transfer channel 13 under the gate electrode.
