ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENCE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence (EL) device which emits blue light having an excellent color purity. SOLUTION: In an organic EL device having one or more organic layers including a light emitting layer between a pair of electrodes, at least one organic layer is constituted to contain a compound represented by a general formula (1) independently or as an admixture. In the formula, R1-R4are selected from hydrogen, alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, alkoxy group, cycloalkoxy group, and aryloxy group, and they may be the same group or different groups. A1to A4are selected from a substituted or nonsubstituted phenyl group, and substituted or nonsubstituted heterocyclic group of 5 or 6 member ring, and they may be the same group or different groups.
