PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small disk device capable of using a cartridgeless disk without causing an injury in a user and damage in the disk, and an electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: The disk device includes a device body 3 and a disk protecting cover 4. The disk protecting cover 4 is disposed on the device body 3 in a turnable manner and is turned between a folded state in which it is folded when loading and unloading a disk 5 and a spread state in which it is spread circularly so as to cover the disk 5 loaded on a turntable. The disk protecting cover 4 includes first to tenth cover segments. When the first cover segment 21 is turned, the second to ninth cover segments are turned in interlock with the first cover segment. When the disk protecting cover 4 is turned in a spread state, power feeding to an electromagnet is started, and the disk protecting cover 4 is fixed in a spread state by magnetic force.
