PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape printing system that can be coated with glue only in a desired position of printing tape with a simple operation. SOLUTION: A user sets a glue-coating position of printing tape 17 on a glue-coating setting screen 96. A computer 200 generates from the setting a control signal for contact/separation of an auxiliary cassette 70 with/from an attachment roller 15. The auxiliary cassette 70 has a roll of size tape 74 having an adhesive layer 27 on a surface. The generated control signal is sent to a tape printing apparatus 110.
