PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an abrupt stop of an internal combustion engine which injects the fuel of an accumulator for storing pressurization fuel to an internal combustion engine, while suppressing the destabilization of combustion at the time of starting the internal combustion engine.

SOLUTION: In a diesel engine for injecting the pressurization fuel in a common rail from an injector, an ECU executes a program comprising a step (S102) for stopping fuel injection when rail pressure P (pressure in the common rail) is lower than P(1) (YES at S100), a step (S106) for fixing a fuel injection amount to an idle injection amount when the rail pressure P is higher than P(1) (NO at S100) and lower than P(2) which is higher than P(1) (YES at S104), and a step (S108) for displaying that an abnormality occurs in a supply pump for supplying the pressurization fuel to the common rail on an information panel.
