DC POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC power distribution system capable of eliminating the necessity of replacement of a backup power supply unit in a long-time use while compensating DC power feeding to a DC apparatus when the output of the DC power supply unit drops.

SOLUTION: The DC power distribution system is provided with: a backup power supply unit 4 comprising a capacitor for storing charges; a charging circuit 5 for charging the backup power supply unit 4 upon receiving the output of a DC power supply unit 1 in a charging state; a discharging circuit 6 for feeding the DC power discharged from the backup power supply unit 4 in a discharging state to the DC apparatus 102; a power failure detection circuit 7 for monitoring the output of the DC power supply apparatus 1 and determining that a power failure occurs if the output becomes lower than a predetermined value. When the power failure detection circuit 7 detects a power failure, a DC/DC converter 8 in the discharging circuit 6 switches the charging state to the discharging state.
