<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver capable of recognizing the content of a program broadcast by a digital broadcast in a short time, and providing aid by images or sound for characteristic information. <P>SOLUTION: This broadcast receiver 100 includes: reception parts 11 and 12 receiving a stream signal; a separation part 14 separating subtitle data included in the stream signal; a conversion part 22 converting the subtitle data to a markup language; and storage parts 10 and 23 storing the converted markup language, and storing at least one of sound data, image data and data broadcast corresponding to specific characters within a character string constituting the subtitle data or the character string by relating them to the specific characters or the character string. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
