<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print inspection device capable of specifying a page of a slip corresponding to a segmented image without requiring a bar code or any special printing. <P>SOLUTION: The print inspection device 1 includes: an inspection server 31 for acquiring correct answer information for representing correct answer information of characters that are associated to a plurality of inspection regions EF within one page where character strings are printed and page information and are printed on a consecutive slip by a printer, and for previously setting a plurality of regions segmented from an image in the slip corresponding to the inspection region; a transfer motor for transferring a slip in one direction; a line scan camera for reading an image of the slip transferred by the transfer motor; and an inspection terminal 32 for segmenting a plurality of regions from the image read by the camera, decrypting a character string in the inspection region from the segmented inspection region, and determining the page of the slip in which a plurality of character strings exist from the decrypted character string in the inspection region and the correct answer information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
