<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a lead block for a rotary connector in which a compactification is enabled and the lead block having superior dimensional precision is obtained with a less number of processes, easily, and inexpensively. <P>SOLUTION: After a nearly flat plate-shaped lead blank 13 is formed by punching a hoop shaped metal plate 20, against a prescribed number of terminals 11 having a pin-shaped second connecting terminal part 11b, the lead blank 13 is made a three-dimensional shape by means that a bending process is carried out in the vicinity of a coupling part 15. Next, although this lead blank 13 is inserted into a die and a base body 12 composed of an insulating resin is molded, at this time, except the respective connecting terminal parts 11a-11c of a connecting terminal 11 group and the coupling parts 14-16, an insert molding process is carried out so that the lead blank 13 is embedded into the base body 12. Afterwards, by means that prescribed sites of the coupling parts 14-16 are removed, the plurality of the connecting terminals 11 are made mutually and electrically independent, and the lead block is completed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
