PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and stably detect an object to be detected with a reduced variation of capacitance detected. SOLUTION: A detection electrode 110 has a rectangular plate-shaped outside appearance, and includes a first sensor part 111 and a second sensor part 112. The detection electrode 110 further has a shield part 119 on the outer edge side of the first sensor part 111. The first and second sensor parts 111 and 112 have square-shaped patterns of flat-formed copper foil, etc. The first sensor part 111 is disposed on the outer edge side of the whole electrode, and the second sensor part 112 is disposed on the center Q side of the electrode in such a way that the outer edge side is surrounded by the first sensor electrode 111.
