PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device, such as, a plasma display TV, capable of reducing nonuniform temperature of a plasma display panel, and hence, nonuniform luminance thereof, by actively having the heat generated on the power source circuit side escape from the rear cover side. SOLUTION: In the plasma display TV, a circuit board 4 on which the power source circuit is mounted is not thermally connected to a chassis 3, but rather is thermally connected to the inside of the rear cover 9 via a support post 10. This makes it possible to dissipate the heat of the power source circuit from the rear cover 9 via the circuit board 4 and the support post 10 and reduces the heat dissipation from the side of the chassis 3, to which the plasma display panel 1 is stuck.
