PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce piston strike noise, reduce wear of a piston and engine oil consumption quantity, and prevent seizure of an engine. SOLUTION: A piston device 10 includes a groove 7 provided on a circumference surface of an upper end 1a of the piston 1, a piston ring 2 disposed in the groove 7, a rod 3, a storage chamber 6, a wall 9, a spring 5 which is an embodiment of an elastomer, an oil supply passage 15, and an oil supply part 16. Biasing force is applied on the piston ring 2 from the spring 5 via the rod 3 to push out the piston ring 2 to a thrust side from the groove 7 during operation of the engine. The piston ring 2 pushed out to the thrust side can stabilize posture of the piston device 10 in a cylinder 11, and can reduce collisions of the piston device 10 on a bore due to rotation of the piston device during operation of the engine.
