PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle-riding type vehicle which enables a shock absorber to smoothly contract and expand even when the shock absorber swings in the lateral direction of the vehicle. SOLUTION: The shock absorber 100 is disposed along a directionαwith its upper end portion 100U connected to a vehicle body frame 40 via a linkage member 200. The linkage member 200 comprises an outer part 200a attached to the vehicle body frame 40 pivotably about an axis in a directionβdifferent from the directionαand an inner part 200b attached to the outer part 200a pivotably about an axis in a directionγdifferent from the directionβ.
