PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize the communication interval of a tire air pressure monitor in response to the driving state of a vehicle. SOLUTION: A transmission interval set from a tire side transmitter 1 installed at a tire to an on-vehicle radio unit 9 is automatically changed in response to parameters reflecting driving conditions such as speed or acceleration or its variation rate of a vehicle measured by a vibration sensor 26 installed in the tire side transmitter 1 in such a way that a certain difference may occur in respect to its adjoining vehicle. With such an arrangement as above, it becomes possible to perform a positive communication showing a less amount of communication errors by displacing a timing in respect to a transmittance interval with the tire air pressure monitoring device and the like of an adjoining vehicle.
