PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deformation working method for a metal glass composite material where the formation of defects, fractures or the like in a metal glass layer upon deformation working are extremely reduced. SOLUTION: The deformation working method for a metal glass composite material includes: a forming step for a metal glass composite material where metal glass particles are laminated on the surface of a substrate, so as to form a metal glass layer; a homogenizing step where the metal glass layer is pressurized in a supercooled liquid state, so as to homogenize the metal glass layer; and a step where the homogenized metal glass layer is subjected to deformation working.
