摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a renovation method which can increase parking efficiency by renovating an equipment body so that a vehicle with a middle height or a great height can also be housed therein, in the replacement renovation of the equipment body. SOLUTION: In the parking equipment body 1, a plurality of suspension materials are mounted at proper spaces on main front and rear chains which are wound between upper and lower sprockets provided in front and rear position, so that a vehicle mounting cage can be circulated in a state of being suspended between the front and rear corresponding suspension materials. In the replacement of the parking equipment body, the number of meshed teeth of the upper and lower sprockets 33 engaged with the main chain is reduced by a predetermined number, so that the diameters of the upper and lower sprockets 33 can become small; an axial-center position of the upper sprocket is shifted upward to a position suitable for the winding of the main chain 114; and a distance L from the position of the axial center C2 of the upper and lower sprockets 33 to the position to suspend the vehicle mounting cage 36 by the suspension material 35 is set almost equal to a distance from the position of the axial center to the position to suspend the vehicle mounting cage by the existing suspension material, so that a corner-cut area R3 during circulation in the vertically-reversed portion of the vehicle mounting cage 36 can become smaller.
