The connector has a housing (1) made from an electrically isolating material, and comprising insertion channels (2, 3) for two electrical wires (4) to be connected. The channels are separated from each other, and spring rings (9-14) are arranged in the insertion channels and held in the housing. Each spring ring is formed with an inward pointing spring lamella and with a V-shaped or a circular arc-shaped bus bar (6) arranged in the housing. The bus bar is made of electrically conductive material. The bus bar is inserted in the spring rings and electrically interconnects the insertion channels.
