REINFORCING FIBER SUBSTRATE OF CURVED SHAPE, LAYERED PRODUCT USING THE SAME, PREFORM, FIBER-REINFORCED RESIN COMPOSITE MATERIAL, AND PROCESSES FOR PRODUCING THOSE

A curved reinforcing fiber base (1) characterized by having a curved planar shape and by comprising: reinforcing fiber yarns (2) arranged parallel with circumferential directions (3) for the curved shape; and auxiliary weft yarns (4) arranged in directions crossing the reinforcing fiber yarns (2) arranged in one of the circumferential directions (3). Also provided are: a curved reinforcing-fiber layered product employing the base; a preform; a reinforced composite material; and processes for producing the base, layered product, preform, and composite material. The reinforcing fiber base curves longitudinally and includes reinforcing fibers oriented along the curved shape in a desirable arrangement. The curved reinforcing-fiber layered product includes at least one layer of the reinforcing fiber base; and the process for producing the same enables this layered product to be efficiently produced in a short time. The preform employs the layered product; and the process for producing the same enables the preform to be efficiently formed. The curved fiber-reinforced composite material is a continuous one obtained from the preform.
