<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel external skin preparation exhibiting a melanogenesis inhibiting effect. <P>SOLUTION: An external skin preparation exhibiting a melanogenesis inhibiting effect containing a compound having a novel flavonoid structure is provided. The compound having the flavonoid structure is contained in an extract prepared from L. floribunda of Leguminosae belonging to Lespedeza, specially, in an extract of the underground part of the vegetable obtained by using organic solvents such as alcohols containing ethanol, which may contain water, and polyhydric alcohols, halogenated hydrocarbons and dialkylketone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
