<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure measuring apparatus capable of highly accurately measuring the blood pressure at measuring sites (four limbs) other than fingers by a volume compensation method. <P>SOLUTION: This blood pressure measuring apparatus is provided with a pressure sensor 32 for detecting a cuff pressure, volume detecting sections 71 and 72 provided at the cuff 20 and detecting an artery volume signal of a measuring subject, and first and second adjustment means for adjusting the cuff pressure. The first adjustment means is used for setting the cuff pressure to an initial cuff pressure and includes, for example, a pump 51 and a valve 52. The second adjustment means is used for a case of a servo control and includes an air cylinder 61 and an actuator 62 which can adjust the cuff pressure at a higher speed than those of the pump 51 and the valve 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
