<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard-coating composition which suppresses blackening phenomena and coat-peeling phenomena against ultraviolet rays while maintaining optical interference-suppressing properties of its hard coat to highly refractive lenses, suppresses color change and decolorization of color lenses, with less environmental load, and which forms a hard coat with a refractive index of 1.55 or above without spoiling beauty even when used over long periods. <P>SOLUTION: The hard-coating composition is composed of dispersion of zirconia colloidal particles with an average particle size of 5-30 nm in an alkoxysilane hydrolysate via a dispersant, and forms a hard coat with a refractive index of 1.55 or above. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
