PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device including thin film transistors having good characteristics, which is capable of suppressing degradation of the characteristics and correcting a display defect even in a case of the occurrence of the display defect due to the thin film transistors. SOLUTION: The display device has a plurality of gate signal lines and a plurality of drain signal lines on a substrate and has thin film transistors and pixel electrodes in pixel regions defined by the gate signal lines and the drain signal lines. Each thin film transistor comprises a semiconductor layer formed in a position superposed on the gate signal line, a drain electrode connected to the drain signal line, and a source electrode connected to the pixel electrode, and the drain electrode and the source electrode are branched into a plurality of portions and are alternately disposed on the semiconductor layer, and the source electrode is drawn out to the pixel electrode side beyond a formation region of the gate signal line, and the drain electrode is drawn out to the opposite side of the source electrode beyond the formation region of the gate signal line.
