<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which is capable of forming a reference capacitor that is connected to a variable capacitor without adding another electrode and its driving method. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes at least one row sensor data line SY<SB>I</SB>which extends in the row direction, at least one column sensor data line SX<SB>J</SB>which extends in the column direction, a first sensor part which is connected to the row sensor data line and outputs a first sensor signal by the contact from the outside, a second sensor part which is connected to the column sensor data line and outputs a second sensor signal by the contact from the outside, a sensor signal processing part which impresses a reset voltage Vres to the row sensor data line and the column sensor data line alternately and generates a sensor data signal from the first sensor signal and the second sensor signal, and a contact determining part which processes the sensor data signal and generates contact information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
