<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic ticket checker securing safety for preventing a passenger from falling out while preventing a forced entry. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic ticket checker 50 determines whether or not the passenger P can pass based on the information read from entraining medium, makes a gate door 53 an opened state when the passage is permitted and makes the gate door 53 a closed state when the passage is not permitted. The passenger P passing through the ticket checker path is photographed by a camera 11 and whether or not the passenger P is likely to fall is determined based on an image photographed by the camera 11.
