PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently supply lubricating oil to lubricate meshed tooth faces to avoid damage to meshing tooth faces in high-speed rotating gears, and eliminate the necessity of moving the position of a nozzle position even if a gear ratio is changed.
SOLUTION: Since the lubricating oil is injected to a tooth of a small-diameter helical gear 10 immediately before meshing is started, the injected lubricating oil can be captured between the small-diameter helical gear 10 and a large-diameter helical gear 20 and successively flow along meshing tooth surfaces. Therefore, the lubrication of tooth surfaces and the cooling of the tooth surfaces can be simultaneously performed with an appropriate quantity of the lubricating oil to enable reduction in tooth surface wear and a longer gear life. Moreover, a lubricating oil film formed on the tooth surface can prevent direct contact between the tooth surfaces of the small-diameter helical gear 10 and the large-diameter helical gear 20. Since a tooth surface coverage effect is also obtained, the occurrence of pitching and scoring can be prevented. By injecting the lubricating oil directly to the small-diameter helical gear 10 which has a small heat capacity, a cooling effect can suppress a temperature increase of the small gear.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
|
