PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile hood panel superior in pedestrian protective property, capable of relieving restriction on selection of a material, by reducing an HIC value, even if a clearance between a hood panel and a rigid member such as an engine is reduced, by restraining deformation of the hood panel. SOLUTION: This automobile hood panel is composed of an outer panel and an inner panel. The inner panel is provided with a recessed part having a cross-sectional shape of a substantially trapezoidal shape and having the bottom opposed in close vicinity to the outer panel. The first recessed part and the second recessed part are crossed with each other, and 2/3 or more up to a central part from an end part of a projection part surrounded by the first recessed part and the second recessed part, is a continuous surface, and a discontinuous part for preventing propagation of deformation is arranged at least in a part of the recessed part.
