A shock absorber for controlling a vibration absorption force of a vehicle is provided to prevent the bottom of a shock absorber from being damaged even by a burden caused by the load of a car body. A shock absorber(1) for controlling a vibration absorption force of a vehicle includes a car body connecting part, a base flow tube, a protective cover pipe, a bracket(20), and a reinforcing support(30). The car body connecting part is formed on the base flow tube and combined with a car body. The base flow tube includes a cylinder combined with a piston. The protective cover pipe is combined with the base flow tube and has a spring seat supporting a coil spring. The coil spring provides a shock-absorbing force. The bracket is connected with the protective cover pipe. The bottom of the bracket is opened. The reinforcing support is combined with the bracket and has a wheel shaft connector formed at the bottom thereof.
