PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, which can easily and properly decide a place for a folding positional mark to be formed. SOLUTION: This image forming device forms an image on paper based on image data and is equipped with an input means for inputting a folded-up size, which is the size of paper folded-up after the formation of the image, a controlling means for calculating the forming positions of the folding positional mark on the paper in response to the folded-up size and an image forming means for forming the folding positional mark on the paper based on the forming position of the folding positional mark.
