PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake control device of an internal combustion engine capable of ensuring a sufficient intake filling amount in a wide range of rotations. SOLUTION: In an engine system 10 having an impulse valve 226 installed in an intake pipe 204, a surge tank 223 communicated with the intake pipe 204 via a branch pipe 222, and a surge tank valve 224 provided in the branch pipe 222, the ECU 100 executes the valve drive control. During the valve drive control, when the engine speed Ne of an engine 200 belongs to a first zone below the first reference value Ne1, the first control mode for executing the impulse charge by opening the surge tank valve 224 is executed; when the engine speed belongs to the second zone of equal to or higher than the first reference value Ne1 and below the second reference value Ne2, the second control mode for stopping the impulse charge while opening the surge tank valve 224 is executed; and when the engine speed belongs to the third zone of equal to or higher than the second reference value Ne2, the third control mode for reducing the intake resistance by opening the surge tank valve 224 is executed, respectively.
