LIGHTING DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device with a spiral glass arc tube, enabling safe and efficient installation of arc tubes having different base positions due to production tolerances and wattage differences.

SOLUTION: The lighting device includes a fluorescent lamp 5 of a spiral glass tube form having one pair of bases 23 at both outer ends of the tube and sockets 11 mounted on a device body 3 to electrically and mechanically connect the bases 23 of the fluorescent lamp 5. The sockets 11 are provided on the device body 3 so that the sockets can move from a place where the socket is connected to the base 23 along the axis line of the fluorescent lamp 5 and to the straight direction. This structure can absorb all displacements including the positional errors of the sockets and the bases due to wattage difference and production tolerances.
