<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiglare film showing excellent antiglare performance, preventing decrease in visibility due to haze, achieving a high contrast without causing glare and having excellent mechanical strength. <P>SOLUTION: The antiglare film has a hard coat layer having a fine concavo-convex pattern on its surface laminated on at least one surface of a resin base film having a flat surface, and is characterized in that: a ratio n<SB>r</SB>/n<SB>f</SB>of the refractive index n<SB>r</SB>of the hard coat layer to the refractive index n<SB>f</SB>of the resin base film is not more than 0.96; and when light is incident perpendicular from the resin base film side on the interface between the resin base film and the hard coat layer, a ratio T(60)/T(0) of the scattered light intensity T(60) at an angle 60° from the normal line in the hard coat layer side to the scattered light intensity T(0) along the normal direction in the hard coat layer is not more than 0.000001. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
