摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent display device wherein fluctuation of a film thickness in a pixel electrode can be reduced even when a film is formed in the pixel electrode partitioned by a barrier plate by using organic luminescent ink made of an organic luminescent material, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: This organic electroluminescent display device has a first electrode formed on a substrate, the barrier plate formed at the end part of the first electrode, a luminescence assisting layer formed on the first electrode, an organic luminescent layer formed on the luminescence assisting layer, and a second electrode formed on the organic luminescent layer. The distance from the surface of the first electrode to the surface of the luminescence assisting layer becomes shorter as it goes toward the barrier plate from the center part of the luminescence assisting layer.
