PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stiffening plate for a printed circuit board featuring a low disposal cost and that can reduce the waste of resources. SOLUTION: Wooden materials, such as, wood chips are loosened and made into woody fibers by a machine. Then, high temperature and high pressure are applied to the fibers, and they are made into a woody plate material 11. Sheets 12 are pasted on both sides of the woody plate material using hot melt adhesives, and a stiffening plate 10 is formed. If both the sides of the stiffening plate 10 are applied to a printed circuit board and holes are opened at predetermined positions, the stiffening plate is becomes already used. Sine the woody plate material is made solely of woody materials, the woody plate material can be made into woody fibers, if it loosened by a machine thereafter. If high temperature and high pressure are applied to the woody fibers, the woody plate material 11 can be reproduced.
