PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an identification label for identifying contents sealed in an outer container. SOLUTION: The identification label (A) is to be stuck to a surface 4a of the content 4 housed in an outer container made of a non-X-ray contrast agent, the content housed in an externally invisible state, in order to identify the content 4. The label (A) includes a substrate 1, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2 disposed on the lower face 1a of the substrate 1, and an identification layer 3A formed by printing with an ink containing barium sulfate powder, disposed on the upper face 1b of the substrate 1.
