PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor module inspection apparatus or the like for easily measuring the characteristic of each sensor, without requiring an accurate axial alignment process. SOLUTION: This sensor module inspection apparatus 1 is an apparatus for inspecting a sensor module composed of a sensor etc. having detection shafts which are housed inside a housing of a rectangular parallelepiped and are perpendicular to an outer surface of the housing and perpendicular to each other, and the apparatus includes a holding unit 2 for holding the housing, an apparatus-side connector unit 3 for connection with sensors, a driving unit 4 for moving the holding unit 2 three-dimensionally, an operation unit 5 for receiving inputs of operation commands from outside, a group 6 of reference sensors which are installed integrally with the holding unit in correspondence with the kinds of the sensors by a number the same as them, and a control unit 7 for controlling the holding unit 2 and the driving unit 4 in response to an input of each unit or the like 1-6. The group 6 of reference sensors are installed so that the detection shafts coincide with detection shafts (reference shafts) while being ought to be of the sensor module whose housing is held by the holding unit 2.
