PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation transmitting device which can exactly operate a two-way clutch in such a way that an outer ring of the two-way clutch with a variation in dimension can be incorporated in without generating an axial gap. SOLUTION: A two-way clutch 10 and an electromagnetic clutch 40 controlling the engagement/disengagement of the two-way clutch 10 are incorporated in a housing 1. Furthermore, in an outer ring 11 of the two-way clutch 10, a bearing fitting surface 25 fit in an inner diameter surface of a bearing 5 fixed in an end of the housing 1, and a positioning surface 26 contacting with the inner side surface of the bearing 5 are formed. Additionally, the outer ring 11 is supported without generating the axial gap by arranging a biasing means 30 biasing the outer ring 11 in a direction in which the positioning surface 26 is pressed to the inner side surface of the bearing 5 between the bearing fitting surface 25 and the bearing 5.
