PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas recirculation cooling generator improving environmental load reducing capacity by using an EGR system for an engine system and enabling electric power supply. SOLUTION: The EGR system includes: a recirculation passage for recirculating exhaust gas discharged from the engine to the engine as intake air; and a cooling device provided in the recirculation passage and cooling the exhaust gas discharged from the engine. The system also includes a thermoelectric element device for generating electric power using a temperature difference at a section where the temperature difference is generated in the cooling device.
